Life with Alex and Elais

Now 2 and a half, an independent Alex wants to do EVERYTHING himself. This is a blessing to me!  It no longer bothers me that we often go about our day with shoes on the wrong feet, backward pants, and a little too much maple syrup on our waffles. Alex is speaking great and many favorite sentences are emerging on a daily, no hourly basis,

 including . . . " look at me, Alex is so strong" or "so big " or "so cool"

"I did it"

"for MMMEEEEE?

"I can do it all by myself" and of course

"Eli stop it"

Elias is coming up on 6 months and is now sitting up .  Tooth number two has made its grand apperance. He has learned to love to splash in the tub, making it impossible for the boys to bathe together. Alex just doesnt understand why Eli can splash him but he cant do the same. Elias Loves his big brother with a capitol "L." Just about EVERYTHING AJ does makes Eli crack up.
